OnlyJahmez exploded onto the New Jersey music scene in early 2019 with his debut audiovisual EP, “Fxck Rules”. At nearly a million streams, the “Fxck Rules” EP birthed the world’s newest rap rockstar. Hailing from the small suburbs of Clayton, New Jersey, aka Clayraq, OnlyJahmez came into the game with a chip on his shoulders. His mission is to wake up everyone sleeping on South Jersey and show the world “they got something to say”.
With consistent appearances on NYC’s Hot 97 and Power 105.1, as well as being added to the BET Jams rotation, OnlyJahmez is paving his own lane. He’s worked with industry giants like TrackMasters, Spraygrounds, Mike Cameron of Water Music Publishing, Huff, and Dope Clothing Brand as well as new stars like FatboySSE and Yvng Swag from Wild N Out. Between his striking vocals and over the top production, he’s got a style that’s fun, catchy and, in his own words, “ignorant!”
But OnlyJahmez’s self-marketing skills are the opposite of “ignorant.” His single “Strawberry Shortcake” gained 120k+ views in less than a month by using boutique marketing and promo strategies. One particular marketing tactic landed his face on a billboard in NYC’s Times Square.
And Jahmez has live performance skills to match his music and marketing prowess. He’s shared the stage with acts like JuiceWrld, SimxSantana, Jimmy Woppo, SkiMaskTheSlumpedGod, and Jacquees.
